This last Saturday I spent the morning with Jon cutting stamps from potatoes. I’m convinced now that potatoes are an effective, low-cost way to learn how to carve stamps. Unlike cutting a linoleum block, I didn’t feel guilty when I made an irreversible mistake; just chuck the potato and start again.<\/p>\n
